Metro North All-Stars Shine

There were no capes or Clark Kent glasses in sight, but the players in Sunday’s Metro North All-Star Games were Supermen nonetheless. A sellout crowd witnessed excellent hockey by the league’s top players. The scores were secondary to the great play on the ice. Special mention goes to the night's MVP’s:

Jr. Varsity:
Zack Meier, Glenbrook North junior forward
Brandon Hilliard, Evanston freshman forward

Varsity:

Garrison Sanipass, Glenbrook North junior forward
Michael Gordon, HIghland Park senior goalie

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the players and coaches.

GBN Sweeps

Congratulations to the Glenbrook North Spartans for their regular season first place finish at both the Varsity and Jr. Varsity levels. The Varsity team went 19-0-3, scoring 104 goals and giving up only 30. The Jr. Varsity team was even stingier, allowing only 10 goals while scoring 121, en route to compiling a 19-1-0 record.
